How to Make an Easy & Effective Compost Tea for Your Sick Cannabis Plants 🌳☕😍
|
|
Are you having trouble figuring out how to make compost teas to help your sick cannabis plants? Want to give indoor marijuana plants a little bit of a boost that comes straight from nature? Compost teas (when made and used correctly) can help plants grown in soil, coco, or hydro that are suffering from nutrient deficiencies, root problems, droopiness, shock from cold or heat, light burn, and almost any major stress. Today,
you’ll learn how to make 3 different types of compost tea, each with their own benefits. Let’s get started! Water sick cannabis plants with these easy homemade compost tea recipes and get plants back to 100% as fast as possible. What is Compost Tea & Why Do Cannabis Plants Love It? What is Compost Tea? Compost Teas are “tea” or brew made of compost, the main ingredient in soil that separates it from inert media like coco or hydroponics. Think of
this like making tea out of super nutritious soil. This makes all the good stuff in the soil (microbes, nutrients, etc.) readily available to your plant roots for easy uptake. Compost tea is full of good stuff that your cannabis plants love. What are the benefits of Compost Tea for cannabis plants? Marijuana plants respond well to compost tea that’s made properly. What does good Compost Tea do? - Nutrient-Rich – Gentle, organic way to replenish nutrients without burning your cannabis plants.
- Stress Relief
– Help re-invigorate sick cannabis plants that are suffering from drooping, root problems, nutrient deficiencies, and other forms of stress.
- Soil Health – Replenish the root zone with beneficial microbes, which help deliver nutrients more efficiently to plant roots.
- Fast-Acting – Nutrients delivered directly in the water are typically more available to roots than top-dressing or other ways of supplementing cannabis plants with extra
nutrients.
Compost tea helps make happy cannabis plants.
Caterpillar Watch for Outdoor Growers!
|
|
My fellow grower carleesgrow shared this funny video about caterpillars and it seemed like the perfect time to remind any first-time growers to watch out for caterpillars. Outdoor growers, caterpillar season is upon us! If you're growing outdoor cannabis plants, now is the time to start thinking about caterpillars. - Invest in BT spray just case you need it
BT is one of the most effective way to fight many species of caterpillars. Spray often if caterpillars are an issue, and always spray plant right
as they start flowering to protect their buds from bud worms. How does BT work? It's all natural and safe, but it's made of a bacteria that prevents caterpillars from being able to eat. They don't die instantly, but stop eating plants immediately. You can usually find it at any gardening store. I've found it works better than alternatives like Spinosad. Learn everything you need to know about caterpillars! P.S. This is what caterpillar damage looks like:

"Thank you for the article I need all the information I can get. I'm prescribed it [but my insurance doesn't cover it and I can't afford to buy it. So it really helps me out a bunch. Thank you so much." ~Raymond Hey Raymond. The good news is that you're on the
path from "not being able to afford it" to "having too much" 🌳🌳🌳 ~Sirius

"I've been receiving these emails since 2017. Long time grower here. But since I've been getting tips of you my plants are so beautiful. Your advice every week is exceptional. Even the best growers can learn a thing or two of use both. Love it every week." ~Adam Wow, I'm glad to hear we're helping you grow beautiful plants. "Good morning Ms. Haze. I have a friend named Garry. Garry has RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) and is restricted to riding around on a scooter. He's growing Bruce banner for his pain and has been quite good at this new art. I'm very proud of Garry, because when I first met him he could hardly even move. We came up with a slogan if you're not trying, you're dying. I would love to give him a shout out for his advancements in getting healthy
again." ~Bonsai Mike To Garry: Getting and staying healthy is worth celebrating. Good work on your plants, but even more kudos for working to improve your health 🅰➕ ~Sirius To Bonsai Mike: You're a good friend!

"This photo is of an auto-flower strain called Marley’s Grin, given to me by a friend who had to temporarily leave the state for a few months on business. This plant was not quite ready for harvest, and they were unable take it with them. It was grown in a grow tent using LED grow lights. The plant, a little over two months old now, will finish outdoors using natural sunlight. Needless to say, a ‘gift’ like this can definitely put a smile on one’s face 😃…"
~Ron
It's putting
a smile on my face and it's not even my plant. The gift keep giving! ~Sirius [No description included]
~Reg This plant doesn't look good. It looks gorgeous! ~Sirius "Good morning beautiful GWE folks. Awhile back I sent veg photos of my first sea of green grow. I am sending harvest photos now. The top left shows the skeletons of the training with the two outside plants (both Maui Waui) where I *modified* manifolding and kept the 3rd and 4th nodes which produced 12-13 colas and the center plant (Strawberry, Banana, Grape) being more traditional manifolding but
with 10 colas instead of 8. I realize the center plant is in the center of the light which has affect on yields and is obviously a bit taller, and a different strain, but I found the yield difference interesting. The photo of jars shows bud that is dried and curing at 58-60% humidity. The quarts are 1 oz each of beautiful bud and the 1/2 pints are 1/2 oz and are sugar leaf trim and popcorn buds. So the *modified* version that created more colas actually produced 1/2 oz less each. Giving 9 oz
total for the 2 Maui Waui plants but I got 5 oz from the fewer cola SBG. Thank you for all your help in making my grows better each time. I think from here I will stop trying to increase the colas and stick with the basics focusing on quality not quantity."
~Sandra Firstly, your plants look
excellent. Second, I'm with you on the "quality, not quantity" thing. After a while, you can grow so much that the yields become much less important than potency, flavor and smell. 👍~Sirius
I say "Good day" to you, Scammer!
|
|
This is how I formally address scammers
|
Be gone, foul stealer of funds! Many scammers have no shame, so arguing with them or calling them names is ultimately fruitless. Although you don't want to insult them like you're 18th century royalty, you can take the same attitude and treat scammers like they aren't worth dealing with in any way, shape or form. And that goes for all forms of scam! If you get sent annoying,
spammy emails, don't respond to them. Treat spam emails, spam calls, and any other similar forms of scam like they're beneath your royal attention. Don't interact no matter how upset, angry, or bored you are. Make sure to watch out for seed scams! Remember: Real seed businesses don't contact you. They let you contact them. If anyone messages you to sell you
seeds on social media, look out! It's possible they will take your payment and send nothing. Always take a second to think before sending money to anyone, especially if they contact you (whether by DM, text message, phone call, email, etc.). Recommended Cannabis Seed Sources
These sources have gotten great reviews from our readers:
- Seed Supreme – California, United States
- ILGM (I Love Growing Marijuana) – California, United States
- Herbies Seeds – Europe (seemingly out of the UK and Spain)
We encourage you to forward this email to a friend in need! GrowWeedEasy.com has hundreds and hundreds of pages! Check out some articles you may not have seen... How to Grow with Organic Super Soil: Just Add Water! - Imagine if your plants were
tired of modern conveniences and wanted to get back to nature. You could grow them outside or in the woods, but what if a deer smokes your plants? What's the next best thing? Growing in super soil! It's the closest you can get to mother nature without having to grow plants outside under prehistoric technology like the sun 😂 “True” Organic Growing vs Organic
Nutrients - What does it mean to do "True" organic gardening and is there such a thing as "Fake" organic gardening? "Fake" organic gardening isn't really thing (that I know of), but "True" organic gardening is what you do when you use "Super Soil" like in the article above: you feed the plant by feeding the community of organisms in the soil. Make Your
Buds Sparkle With More Trichomes - If you grow cannabis, you're likely a fan of harvesting sparkly buds. After all, when buds sparkle, it's a sign that the quality is either high or on the higher side. If you want to get your buds to develop those awesome, glittery growths (trichomes), you'll want to take a peek at the info contained in this article. It'll help get you to the promised land!

Cannabis is much easier to grow than people give it credit for, and growing in water doesn't increase the difficulty much, if any.
